Hip hop, started out in the park, once was a spark but now it lights up the dark/
imprint on my heart, it's what's made me this smart, put the bite in my bark so much I'd fight for the art/
right from the start, it was crafted and grandmastered by fatherly, scholars that solemnly saw a path out of poverty/
honestly, I feel like I was there at least I shoulda been, but since I wasn't I'll use this gift to try and make hiphop good again/
110% I put it in, no crimes and beef and murder, decision for intermission so I can dive in even further/
rhyming steve'll word a perfect sermon to ensure the, future of the artform at all costs and to secure a/
brighter future for writers used to grinding through the madness, if I disappear for a while please find hope when you look at this...
